The first side of this table reads “Please share a memory of race.” The second side reads “Please share a memory of racism.”

My hope is that as people encounter the the two sides of the table, contribute a memory, and read the contributions of others, people will be encouraged to pull the two terms apart, and reflect on how they are placed in relationship to each other in their own minds and our wider culture.
